On the Franconian Saale, two steamers (“Kissingen” and “Saline”) commute daily from Easter to October between Rosengarten and Saline. The first screw steamer started regular driving as early as 1877. The “Kissingen”, which is still in operation today, is a real classic car from 1923 with a riveted hull, the “Saline” has been there since 1964.
