Terrassenschwimmbad

The terrace swimming pool with its 48,000 sqm of floor space, of which 7,500 m2 of sunbathing lawns, has delighted guests and residents alike every summer since 1954. In the opening year, the German Swimming Championships took place here. In 2018/2019, this beautifully situated bath was given a newly designed toddler and non-swimmer area. In addition to sports pools and diving pools with 1-meter, 5-meter and 10-meter diving tower, there are action and children’s pools. The spacious complex also offers a unique view of the city and the adjacent mountains of the Rhön. A kiosk and restaurant in the historic flair of the 50s is considered an insider tip for all visitors.
