Luitpoldpark
With about 15 hectares, the Luitpoldpark is an oasis of relaxation. This landscaped garden was designed in English style. Hammocks under shady trees, benches and loungers are at the disposal of the recreation seeker. In the park there is also a Mediterranean Kneipp landscape, a lawn labyrinth, the fitness station "The Five Kissinger", a temple of religions and a sound garden. Here, the diverse sounds of nature mix with subtle music several times a day. This results in relaxing sphere sounds. Playing times are daily from 10:00 to 11:30, 15:00 - 16:30 and 19:00 - 20:30 from Easter to October. At the eastern end of Luitpoldpark are tennis courts, a restaurant with a beer garden and the popular Saale-Mäander with beach volleyball area. Here you can bathe in the shallow water of the Saale on warm days or rest on the sunbathing lawn.
