Regent’s building
The Regent's Building is the landmark and cultural heart of Bad Kissingen. In 1911, the construction of Prince Regent Luitpold was commissioned as a new spa house due to massive increase in the number of guests. After a short construction period of 21 months, this building was built in the neo-Baroque style by Max Littmann. The Regent's Building includes the White Hall, the Green Hall and the Max-Littmann-Saal. This wood-panelled ballroom is considered one of the best concert halls in the world due to its outstanding acoustics. At the annual music festival "Kissinger Sommer" classical concerts of world-renowned orchestras and soloists take place here almost daily. A guided tour of the Regent's Building and its halls should not be missed by any guest of this city.
