Rosengarten

Since the spa garden was reserved exclusively for the (cure) guests of the city and ordinary citizens of the city were denied access, a so-called Rosarium was created as an alternative. Today, both residents and guests enjoy the Rose Garden and its 130 rose varieties, which can be found on around 10,000 sticks. After large-scale renovation work based on the historical model, the Rose Garden with the Multi-Media Fountain shines in new splendour. The Rose Garden is also an important criterion that Bad Kissingen was awarded the title "Rosenstadt". The axis of view in the Rose Garden is aimed at the newly built multimedia fountain, which offers unique water, sound and laser shows throughout Germany. On the edge of the Rosengarten you can also find the berth for the popular steamers of the Saale cruise.
