Wittelsbach Tower
In 1906, the town of Bad Kissingen built an observation tower on the Scheinberg in honour of the Bavarian kings and rulers from the House of Wittelsbach. These had contributed to the worldwide fame of Bad Kissingen as a world bath, not least through magnificent buildings. The tower with its magnificent view of the city as well as the mountains of the Rhön was opened to the public after a renovation with its viewing platform. The key to the tower ascent can be obtained from the nearby adventure brewery. With its Franconian restaurant, this is also a magnet for hikers and walkers.
